*Counseling Sessions:

Compass’s office is located on the North Shore of Pittsburgh, on River Ave. Clients can be seen in the comfort of our warm, private, and welcoming office space in person or through telehealth, using our HIPAA-compliant portal with Doxy.me. We offer hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with Saturday slots during the school year for students from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Please note: Compass is a fee-for-service provider and does not bill insurance providers for services at this time. Session fees are determined based on a sliding income scale. However, scholarships are available. You can acquire information on scholarships during your intake.

*Private Coaching Sessions:

Personal life coaching services are available in the areas of personal development, self-care, relationship guidance, career planning, and other areas related to personal growth. These services are confidential, private, and directed toward guiding a person’s life choices, building self-awareness, obtaining and maintaining autonomy, and mentoring. Unlike mental health counseling, “coaching” is “mentoring.” Coaching does not require weekly visits (unless requested), and there is no consent paperwork or case notes; however, mentees will sign a short agreement contract outlining the number of meetings, time frames, and goals. Coaching is less psychologically invasive, but holds space for confidentiality and privacy between the coach and mentee. Coaching allows for a personal relationship without the laws of a “dual relationship” that are ethically disallowed in counseling (This does not guarantee a personal relationship will or friendship will develop. Coaches should consider the mentee’s best interest in maintaining the relationship). Coaching can take place in person in public or private spaces, via video, or on the phone. *CCSS-Mobile:

It’s History: In 2020, CCSS-Mobile, our new service, began as we were thrust to move to tele-health therapy in the wake of the pandemic. With play, art, and gaming therapy as our main concentrations, our practice lost more than 60% of its clientele, as our main mode of therapy for children ages 5-7 was unable to be performed via tele-health. This prompted a dream that has come to life as CCSS-Mobile. CCSS-Mobile is a patent-pending “system for providing mobile mental health therapy and counseling services comprising a motor vehicle comprising: a driver area and a rear area for providing mental health therapy and counseling services; the rear area comprising a plurality of areas for providing a variety of mental health therapy and counseling services.” (,319 – original filing 05/25/2021). We officially launched the service in 2022. Our slogan is, “We Can Come To You!”

Since launching the services, CCSS-Mobile has served more than 70 children through the Allegheny Center Alliance Church, Urban Impact Foundation, Pittsburgh Public Schools, Beaver County Christian Schools, Light of Life Ministries, and community families! CCSS-Mobile services children ages 5 – 11 (in the photo vehicle). Also, under the patent drawings, our team has designed a vehicle for Middle and High School students, ages 11-18, called “CCSS-Mobile Youth!” The vehicle design features a comfortable and well-lit place to relax, an art and gaming center, virtual reality (VR) equipment, in a cool and fun environment designed for today’s youth! Our mobile services are accessible, safe, and fun! Stay tuned for our launch date! Our ability to travel to students in their homes, at school, after-school programs, or other agreed-upon locations adds a convenience that brick-and-mortar programs are unable to offer.
